The president of Nigeria Football Federation, Ibrahim Gusau has said that despite a poor start the Super Eagles will qualify for the 2026 World Cup and also win the 2025 African Nations Cup (AFCON).
Gusau said that going forward, all the players know what is at stake and will surely support the team.
He also promised to deliver a fourth AFCON trophy for the country after the Eagles narrowly missed out on the top prize earlier this year.
He also says the process of employing a substantive coach for the Super Eagles will continue so that the team will be at the level they deserve to be.
