The coach of English club, Manchester City, Pep Guardiola has left attacking midfielder Jack Grealish out of the clubs’ squad for the FIFA Club World Cup.
Guardiola announced a strong 27-man squad for the tournament on Wednesday, including four new signings – midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, forward Rayan Cherki, left-back Rayan Ait-Nouri and goalkeeper Marcus Bettinelli – as well as defender John Stones.
Reports say leaving Grealish out of the squad increases the likelihood of a summer move with a loan move however he still has two years left on his contract at City.
