A former Secretary to the Abia State government, Ralph Egbu has warned that utterances by politicians in opposition parties living inside and outside Abia State are capable of disrupting the peace of the state.
He said this on Tuesday, reacting to the speech delivered by the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu, during the reception for David Umahi, at Aba stadium.
Egbu, alleged that members of the opposition are now launching verbal attacks to distract and demean Alex Otti because of the 2027 elections.
He said that the state should be allowed to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere it is witnessing, and should not be turned to a violent ground through unguarded words.
