FIFA president Gianni Infantino has projected that tickets to all 104 matches of the 2026 World Cup will be “sold out,” despite complaints about the exorbitant prices of the tickets.
Infantino said this to newsmen on Wednesday, saying the demand for the world cup tickets is higher than in previous times.
He said that for about seven million available tickets, they have received 508 million ticket requests in four weeks.
Also, Infantino estimated that the World Cup would bring FIFA about $11 billion or more in revenue, while the World Cup’s impact on the US economy will be around $30 billion
