World football governing body FIFA has paid tribute to Victor Osimhen, hailing his remarkable exploits at the 2015 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile.
In a post on its official X (formerly Twitter) account, FIFA shared a highlight reel of Osimhen’s record-breaking tournament performance, where he scored 10 goals to take the Golden Eaglets to their fifth world title.
Osimhen has cemented his place as Nigeria’s second all-time top scorer, behind the late Rashidi Yekini.
Also,the Super Eagles will face Gabon on November 13 in Morocco.
