FG Plans More Troops As Sect Spreads In North

The Federal Government will deploy more military personnel and formations in the states.


The Sokoto State Government says it is concerned about the lives and property of its people, saying that security topped its nine-point agenda.


The Special Adviser on Security Matters to Governor Ahmad Aliyu, Ahmed Usman says the Federal Government promises to deploy more security operatives in that state to tackle the sect that attacked Mera village, Kebbi State, leaving 17 residents dead on November 8 2024.


Usman says the current administration has been providing logistics support to the security agencies, saying that Lakurawa will soon be a thing of the past.
