Following the Federal Government’s intervention, workers of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMET) have called off their industrial action.
Recall that the workers had embarked on an indefinite strike to protest against poor working conditions, which led to the grounding of flights across the country
The strike, which lingered for two days, left passengers on scheduled local flights stranded at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja; Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos and others.
However, reports say after a meeting with the Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, in Abuja, the strike was called off.
