FBI Says Trump’s Nominees Receiving Bomb Threats

The FBI says several members of Donald Trump’s incoming administration have received threats including bomb alerts, as well as swatting incidents which refer to the practice in which police are summoned urgently to someone’s house under false pretenses.

A spokeswoman for Trump’s transition team, Karoline Leavitt says several appointees and nominees have been targeted in violent threats to their lives and those who live with them.

Also a Trump loyalist congresswoman, Elise Stefanik, said her residence in New York was targeted in a bomb threat.

Nonetheless, the FBI says it is aware of the numerous bomb threats and swatting incidents and is working with its law enforcement partners to deal with it.
