Human rights activist Omoyele Sowore has said that the resignation of Kayode Egbetokun as the Inspector General of Police(IGP) is an acknowledgment that his tenure was never legal.
Sowore said this to newsmen this Wednesday,alledging that egbetokun during his tenure tried to arm-twist the police.
He says that egbetokun used force on policemen asking for better welfare.
sowore also says that Egbetokun “fumbled” throughout his tenure, alleging that he did nothing to curb criminal activities.
