EFCC To Collaborate With CAC To Fight Corruption

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) and the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) have agreed to deepen collaboration in the fight against corruption.

EFCC Executive Chairman, Olanipekun Olukoyede, said this to newsmen, saying the collaboration will ensure that both agencies will work together to strengthen their efforts in curbing fraudulent activities, ensuring that businesses operate with integrity, as well as create a more stable economic foundation for the country.

Olukoyede says EFCC and CAC are both delivering on their mandates for the good of the citizenry and the nation, saying they have resolved to use the instrumentality of fighting corruption to stimulate the economy and create a conducive environment for investors to run their business and ensure that everyone plays by the rules.

He thanked the entire management and staff of CAC for the support and prompt response given to EFCC requests.
