A former Anambra State governor, and immediate past Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige, has reportedly been arrested in Abuja by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
Ngige’s former media aide, Fred Chukwulobe said this on Wednesday evening as he dispelled initial rumours circulating online that Ngige had been kidnapped from his Abuja residence.
Chukwulobe posted the clarification online saying Ngige was with the EFCC.
However, the EFCC is yet to confirm this development.
