EFCC Denies Discovering Cash, Drugs At El-Rufai son’s residence

EFCC Denies discovering cash, drugs at El-Rufai son’s residence

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has debunked claims that it discovered $800 million, ₦700 billion cash, and drugs worth ₦1 trillion at the residence of Bello El-Rufai, the eldest son of the immediate past Governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai.

The commission said this on its official Facebook account this Thursday saying it is a false narrative of the activities of the EFCC as it urged Nigerians to disregard the reports.

This clarification follows speculations that the EFCC discovered the alleged sums of money and drugs at Bello’s residence in Kaduna State.

Bello El-Rufai has also debunked the speculations, saying he does not have a personal Kaduna residence as he only stays at his family house anytime he visits the state.
