The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Edo State, Jarrett Tenebe, has said the Governor of Edo State, Monday.
Okpebholo struggled to pronounce the state’s budget figures during the presentation of the 2025 Appropriation Bill on Tuesday because he is not a thief, and is not familiar with figures.
Tenebe dismissed the criticism against Okpebholo saying a lot of people make such mistakes and it only makes them human.
He says Okpebholo’s stuttering is an indication of his honesty, alleging that the immediate-past governor, Goodwin Obaseki, and the candidate of the People’s Democratic Party in the just concluded election, Asue Ighodalo will not make such mistakes because they have stolen billions before.
Tenebe says critics of Okpebholo should focus on his performance rather than his error during the presentation.
