A senatorial aspirant for Anambra South District, Don Amamgbo, has officially resigned his membership of the Labour Party attributing it to irreconcilable structural failures, internal divisions, and a leadership vacuum that has made it impossible to pursue the urgent task of rebuilding the district.

Amamgbo said this to newsmen, saying his resignation was done after deep personal reflection and extensive consultations with his family, supporters, and political associates.

He says the Labour Party has become deeply enmeshed in several issues that have rendered the party incapable of offering credible direction or leadership to its candidates and supporters.

He announced that he has now joined the African Democratic Congress, ADC, which he says represents stability, equity, and innovation.

He urges all his loyal supporters and the entire electorate of Anambra South to join him in the new phase of his campaign.
