We have news that the Presidency has announced the cancellation of the Presidential National Broadcast earlier scheduled for 7am this Thursday to mark Democracy Day.
The Director of Information and Public Relations, Segun Imohiosen, says this is due to the President’s scheduled attendance at the National Assembly’s joint session this Thursday.
He says President Tinubu will now deliver his address at the National Assembly, by noon.
The Inter-Ministerial Committee on Democracy Day, also says there would be no Democracy Day parade while a public lecture on the Democracy Day celebration would be held at the State House Conference Centre, Abuja, by 4 pm.
