Dangote Refinery has announced another reduction in the price of petrol.
The company spokesperson, Anthony Chiejina, announced the reduction this Thursday saying they have reduced their petrol ex-depot price to N899.50 per litre, down from N970.
He says the reduction, which he called a holiday discount, is designed to ease transport costs during the festive period.
Furthermore, he said for every litre purchased on a cash basis, consumers will have the opportunity to buy another litre on credit, backed by a bank guarantee from Access Bank, First Bank, or Zenith Bank.”
This comes after the company reduced petrol prices to N970 per litre in November.
Recall that in recent days, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited, NNPC, and oil marketers had also reduced petrol prices in their retail outlets.
