The Local Organising Committee, LOC, for the burial of the late President General of the Ohaneze Ndigbo Worldwide, Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu, has assured that he will get a befitting burial.
The chairman of the committee, Charles Amadi, said this at a press briefing on Wednesday in Owerri, saying the late Iwuanyanwu was an illustrious son of Ndigbo and Nigeria in general and must be honoured in a dignified way.
Amadi says adequate security has been put in place during and after the burial scheduled for November 1 at his country home, Atta, in Ikeduru Council Area of Imo State.
He also said many dignitaries within and outside the shores of the country, including President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and two former Presidents, Goodluck Jonathan, and Olusegun Obasanjo, will be present.
