The Minister of Finance, Wale Edun, has asked the customs to do more in its revenue drive while lauding the service’s first-quarter 2025 revenue collection feat of N1.75 trillion.

Edun, who also serves as the Customs Board chairman, made this known at the 62nd regular meeting of the NCS Board held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, at the service’s headquarters in Maitama, Abuja.

The minister expressed satisfaction with the service’s progress but emphasized the need to scale up efforts to meet the country’s economic demands.
