China has lifted a ban on domestic airlines accepting new Boeing aircraft.
Recall that last month Boeing confirmed that Chinese airlines had stopped accepting delivery of its planes in retaliation to the levies imposed by both sides.
But reports emanating this Tuesday say that Chinese officials have begun to tell domestic carriers that they can resume orders of Boeing.
This follows the major de-escalation of the trade war between Beijing and Washington after they agreed to temporarily lower tariffs.
Yesterday, Beijing and Washington announced that they would drastically reduce tariffs for 90 days, as well as continue negotiations.
