The Governor of Benue state, Hyacinth Alia, has forwarded the names of the first batch of eight Commissioner nominees to the Benue State House of Assembly for screening and approval.
The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Tersoo Kula, said this to newsmen this Friday, while giving the names of the nominees as Theresa Ikwue, Benjamin Ashaver, Ijaguwa Adamu, Peter Egbodo, Yangien Ornguga, Denis Iyaighgba, James Dwem and Paul Ogwuche.
This is coming less than 48 hours after the Governor sacked his former Commissioners and Chief of Staff, Paul Biam and replaced him with Moses Atagher.
Kula says the second batch of nominees is expected to be forwarded to the House of Assembly in the coming days.
