Borussia Dortmund have fired their coach Nuri Sahin, after Tuesday’s 2-1 loss to Bologna in the Champions League.
The German soccer club announced the sack this Wednesday saying the sack was decided upon following an internal analysis of recent sporting developments.
Dortmund managing director Lars Ricken says after four defeats in a row and only one win from the last nine games, the club has lost faith in their ability to achieve their sporting goals with Sahin as coach.
The club says it will soon announce who will be in charge for this week’s league game against Werder Bremen.
