The Borno State Government has postponed the presentation of it’s 2026 budget earlier scheduled for Monday, December 15, before the State House of Assembly.
The announcement was made in a statement issued by the Commissioner for Information and Internal Security, Usman Tar.
He said that the presentation of the 2026 Appropriation Bill to the Borno State House of Assembly by the Governor of Borno State, Babagana Zulum, earlier scheduled for 15 December 2025, has been postponed due to unforseen circumstances.
The government said a new date for the presentation of the 2026 appropriation bill would be communicated at a later time.
