The Nigerian Army says its troops of Operation Hadin Kai, OPHK, have neutralised 24 Boko Haram terrorists in coordinated operations across Borno State.

 

The Acting Deputy Director, Army Public Relations Headquarters, Reuben Kovangiya, announced this this Thursday saying the operations which took place between July 4 and 9 involved a collaboration between land and air components of OPHK, the Civilian Joint Task Force, and Hunters.

 

He says the locations where the terrorists were neutralised includes Platari, Komala, Kawuri, Madarari, Leno Kura, Sabsawa, Ngoshe-Gava, Ngoshe-Ashigashiya, Amuda-Gava, Pambula, Tangalanga, Bula Marwa, Ngailda, Manjim, and Wulle villages.

 

The troops recovered several guns and ammunitions, as well as other items including motorcycles and bicycles, sacks of slippers, torchlights, batteries, detergents, salt, and rubber shoes, terrorists’ uniforms, amongst other sundry items.
