Former Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Michael Aondoakaa, has urged the governor of Benue, Hyacinth Alia, to reconcile differences with the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume.
Aondoakaa made the call this Tuesday, after the face-off between the duo escalated, following the ward congress of the All Progressives Congress, APC, held across the state last Wednesday.
He also said that President Bola Tinubu has directed a conciliatory process by the party regarding the differences between Governor Alia and George Akume.
He further added that he doesn’t see anything wrong or disrespectful if he approaches Akume in obedience to the President’s directive.
