The Anambra state chapter of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), has ordered the deployment of personnel to provide security for the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) scheduled to commence this Thursday, 24th April, across the country.
Anambra State Commandant of the NSCDC, Maku Olatunde, gave the directive while briefing the Area Commanders, Divisional Officers, Heads of Formations and Composite Commanders at the State Command Headquarters Awka.
He directed that personnel should arrive at the accredited Computer-Based Test (CBT) centers across Anambra state, before 6:00 am each day.
He tasked them to screen candidates for prohibited items, maintain a serene environment throughout the examination period and also to caution other security operatives assigned to the CBT centers to strictly adhere to the guidelines governing the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board, JAMB.
