The member representing Anambra East Constituency in the State House of Assembly, Obi Nweke has commended Governor Chukwuma Soludo’s administration for its responsiveness to the people affected by this year’s flood.
Nweke says the current administration’s reaction to the plights of the people displaced by flood in the state is encouraging and urged the government to sustain the momentum.
Nweke says he will continue to work for the betterment of Anambra East through participatory democracy and people-oriented legislation, as well as the provision of dividends of democracy at all times.
He called on the federal government to dredge the river Niger and build more dams to end the incessant annual flooding.
