The Anambra State Government has directed all unaccredited/unapproved schools in the state to obtain the requirements for proper accreditation and registration from Anambra State Ministry of Education before the resumption of schools.
The State Commissioner for Information, Paul Nwosu said this on Wednesday, also saying that such schools will risk being sanctioned if they do not comply with the directive.
Nwosu says it is unacceptable to have unaccredited/unapproved schools in the state, given the priority the state Governor Charles Soludo, has accorded quality education.
Nwosu also said the state government believes that irrespective of their location in Anambra State, school children deserve the best learning environment, teachers and curriculum.
