The Anambra Commissioner of Police, Ikioye Orutugu has condoled with the family of late Inspector Amechi Okolie and Police Mobile Force 29 Squadron, Amansea, Awka.

 

Recall that the late Okolie was accidentally shot dead by his 10-year-old son with his AK-47 service rifle while on duty at a bank in Awka on 15 June.

 

The Anambra police spokesperson in Tochukwu Ikenga, says Orutugu urged the officers in the state to always adhere to operational protocols so as to ensure quality service delivery and reduce protocol breaches.

 

He also gave financial support to the family of the deceased officer and wished quick recovery to the injured son, who is receiving medical attention in the hospital.
