A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Faizu Alfindiki, has questioned the political direction of former Kano State governor, Rabiu Kwankwaso, accusing him of failing to prioritise Northern unity through his perceived closeness to the movement of former presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Alfindiki said to newsmen this Monday, that many Northerners were surprised that Kwankwaso appeared more interested in aligning with Obi’s political camp instead of building stronger consensus among influential Northern leaders.
He also alleged that Kwankwaso’s unwillingness to work closely with other Northern politicians had created the impression that his political decisions were driven more by personal ambition than collective regional interest
Alfindiki, further praised the administration of President Bola Tinubu for what he described as visible developmental projects across the North, particularly in infrastructure, road construction and agriculture.
