Akwa Ibom State Government has announced the death the Wife of the State Governor, Patience Umo Eno.
The state Commissioner for Information, Ini Ememo-bong, said this to newsmen this Friday.
Ememobong says that the first lady died on Thursday in a hospital, saying that further details will be provided in due course.
However the Governor of akwa ibom, Umo Eno says he appreciates all who have stood by his family in this period, assuring all the citizens that despite this personal loss, his commitment to the service of that state is unwavering.
