The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi has banned the Nigeria Police Force from parading suspects.
The Force spokesman, Muyiwa Adejobi, says that the police will issue a statement on the ban at the appropriate time.
Human rights lawyer, Femi Falana also says that the practice of parading suspects is illegal.
Similarly, Mike Ozekhome described the practice as unnecessary and unjust.
