Sports minister charges Super Eagles to go for victory ahead of AFCON Qualifier

The Minister of Sports Development, John Enoh, has admonished the Super Eagles to beware of complacency and to go for victory as they battle against Libya, at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

 

Enoh said this Thursday through his spokesperson, Diana-Mary Nsan, also warning the Super Eagles to not undermine their opponents.

 

He encouraged the Nigerian team to make the country proud as he assured them that the country will be rooting for them.

 

So far, Nigeria has four points from their two matches, one point ahead of Benin Republic and two ahead of Rwanda.

 

The Super Eagles Match with the Mediterranean Knights of Libya will take place on Friday at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State
