The National Publicity Secretary of the African Democratic Congress, Bolaji Abdullahi, has said that no one is accusing the Federal Government of Nigeria of persecuting Christians in the country.
Recall that United States President, Donald Trump, said he had asked the Defence Department to prepare for possible military action in Nigeria if the Nigerian government “continues to allow the killing of Christians”.
Bolaji also said that the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, believe that any form of criticism is an attack on them, and that unlike the APC, they are not seeing the declaration of Nigeria as a ‘Country of Particular Concern’ as opportunism.
