Abure, alleged that the Labour Party had been operating peacefully until Obi and Otti backed the establishment of a caretaker committee in Umuahia.
He said that obi and otti’s decision to set up an illegal committee, disrupted the party’s stability and remains the root cause of the prolonged internal conflict.
Abure also rejected suggestions that he is an outsider within the Labour Party, saying that Nenadi Usman as the “interloper.”
