United States President Donald Trump has urged France to tighten its migration rules as he blamed immigration for the unrest during protests that happened in the country.

Trump said this in a post on his Truth Social platform on Sunday, saying immigration of people from an entirely different world, have shattered France.

US Vice President JD Vance made similar comments on Saturday saying western liberals imported the third world into France in the name of diversity and compassion but ignored fundamental questions of assimilation and compatibility.

Reports say France is battling with widespread damage that occurred during recent violent protests that have led to 1,800 arrests.
