The President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Ibrahim Gusau, is scheduled to address journalists in Abuja this Thursday.
Gusau is expected to use the occasion to provide clarification on a number of issues, particularly reports concerning the 2026 NFF elections, the future of the current Executive Committee and alleged pressure on the federation’s leadership to resign.
The NFF’s Elective Congress is officially scheduled for September 27, 2026, in Lafia, Nasarawa State.
The NFF said the adjustment was intended to allow candidates and other stakeholders attending the match to participate in the congress.
