Russia, Ukraine Yet to Confirm Trump’s Claim of Energy Ceasefire
United States President, Donald Trump has said that Russia and Ukraine have both agreed to halt strikes on each other’s energy infrastructure, although both countries have not confirmed the agreement.

Trump announced this on his Truth Social network, saying there is an ENERGY CEASEFIRE in the War between Russia and Ukraine.

Recall that since invading Ukraine in February 2022, Russia has launched waves of attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure, while Ukraine has systematically struck Russian oil refineries that it says fund the war.

However, on Sunday, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky reiterated that his country would be ready to stop hitting Russian oil refineries if Russia curbed its own attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
