The Ebonyi State Government has said that they will embark on an immediate overhaul of infrastructures and lecture theatres at the Ebonyi State University, EBSU.
Ebonyi State Governor Francis Nwifuru announced this at the Ishieke campus of the University during an unscheduled visit, saying some of the dilapidated structures will be demolished to pave way for an ultra-modern faculty building that will stand the test of time.
He said plans are underway for the construction of the Engineering and Environmental Sciences Faculty Building.
Our Correspondent in Ebonyi State, Emmanuel Nnaji, reports that Nwifuru has also directed the Ministry of Power to immediately provide the Ishieke campus of the University with a 500KVA Transformer.
