At least four people have been killed in Ukraine’s second-largest city of Kharkiv after Russia’s overnight bombing of the city.
The Mayor of Kharviv, Ihor Terekhov, said this to newsmen this Tuesday.
Terekhov says the attack on the city also caused damage to civilian infrastructure and housing, saying it was the second Russian strike on the city in less than six hours.
He says nine people were wounded in a first strike that targeted the city center and damaged a historic building.
The Ukrainian Air Force says it destroyed 66 of 100 attack drones launched by Russia during an overnight strike, saying 24 were lost but several others had struck civilian infrastructure.
