Nigeria’s U-17 women’s national team, the Flamingos, have continued their build-up to the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup with a 5–0 victory over Horvel Prime in a friendly match played on Sunday at the training pitch of the Moshood Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
Nigerian Forward Queen Joseph netted a first-half hat-trick with goals in the 4th, 31st, and 35th minutes.
Shakirat Moshood and Azeezat Oduntan also got on the scoresheet to complete the rout.
The Flamingos have now recorded eight wins in eight friendly matches ahead of the global tournament, scoring 27 goals and keeping a perfect defensive record with eight clean sheets.
