Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is currently visiting Canada for the first time since Russia’s invasion of Ukraine began.

Reports say, Zelensky’s visit follows speeches at the UN in New York earlier this week, in which he urged countries to unite against Russian aggression.

Recall that Zelensky was in the United States on Thursday, where he met with President Joe Biden, who has continued in his support of Ukraine and approved $325m (£265m) in further funding for Kyiv.

Furthermore, Ukraine and the US have agreed to launch joint weapons production that will enable Kyiv to start producing air defence systems.
