Xenophobic Group, Political Groups, Protest Against Foreign citizens in South Africa
Members of political parties in South Africa and the xenophobic vigilante group Operation Dudula, took to the streets on Wednesday to protest against illegal foreigners in their country.
 
Reports say they were waving placards and chanting against undocumented immigrants specifically from Nigeria, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Mexico, and other countries, blaming them for taking jobs and contributing to crime.
 
The leader of one of the political parties, ActionSA party, Herman Mashaba, said it is unacceptable for the South African Government to allow their country be flooded with foreigners who are destroying their country. 
 
Reports say the South African police fired rubber bullets and teargas to disperse the protesters who were also harassing bystanders and looting shops as they matched in the city of Durban, South Africa.
