The Confederation of African Football, CAF, has announced that only fans who already possess valid tickets for the upcoming 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will be granted access to the stadiums to watch the playoffs and they will do so free of charge.
CAF says the decision was made to ensure proper crowd management and to reward fans who have consistently supported the continental tournament.
The Super Eagles of Nigeria are set to face the Panthers of Gabon in the opening playoff clash, while the Leopards of DR Congo will face the Indomitable Lions of Cameroon in the second fixture.
