Newly signed Manchester United midfielder Mason Mount has explained why he left Chelsea to join the Red Devils.
Mount, a Chelsea academy product, left Stamford Bridge for the Theatre of Dreams a few days ago in a move that appeared as a surprise to many football followers.
The summer signing told MUTV: “Several months ago I think it became clear that I wasn’t in Chelsea’s plans moving forward.”
He further explained that he knew Manchester United were interested in him, and as such, it was easy to make a decision.
