Trump Threatens Iran as US-Iran Peace Talks Open in Switzerland
President of the United States, Donald Trump has threatened to strike Iran if it does not stop Hezbollah from carrying out strikes, as peace talks between senior US and Iranian officials begin in Switzerland.

Recall that the memorandum of understanding signed last Wednesday between the United States and Iran stipulates a cessation of hostilities on all fronts, including in Lebanon.

However, there have been clashes in recent days between the Israeli army and Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, which seems to derail the preliminary peace deal between Iran and the US.

Nonetheless, US Vice President, JD Vance spoke in Switzerland on Sunday, saying he has seen great progress in the last couple of days in ensuring that the ceasefire holds in Lebanon.
