President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new management team for the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission, ICPC.

The President’s Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, announced this on Tuesday saying the President has exercised the powers conferred on him as established in Section 3(6) of the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Act, 2000.

In the new team, Musa Aliyu has been named Chairman / Chief Executive Officer, ICPC; while Clifford Oparaodu has been named Secretary to the commission; however, their appointments are pending senate’s confirmation.
