Three Israeli Soldiers Killed by Hamas Rocket Launched Near Aid Crossing

Israeli Defense Forces, IDF, say three of its soldiers have been killed in a rocket attack fired by Hamas near one of the main crossings, the Kerem Shalom crossing, used to deliver aid into Gaza.

Israel says the strike from Hamas is another clear example of the terrorist organization’s systematic exploitation of humanitarian facilities and spaces saying it has now closed the crossing, which is near Rafah, in Gaza.

Hamas claimed responsibility for the strike and said it was targeting a nearby Israeli army base.

Meanwhile, Israel’s military has urged the Gazans staying in Rafah to evacuate as it has responded with retaliatory strikes that have reportedly killed at least 12 people.
