President Tinubu to Depart Nigeria for Equatorial Guinea on Wednesday

President Bola Tinubu will depart Abuja on Wednesday for a three-day official visit to Malabo, Equatorial Guinea

 

Special Adviser to the President on Media & Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, told newsmen this on Tuesday that the President’s visit is at the invitation of Guinea’s President Teodoro Mbasogo.

 

Ngelale says Tinubu will meet with Mbasogo at the Presidential Villa in Malabo to hold discussions on key bilateral issues, with a particular focus on oil and gas and security.

 

He says several agreements will be signed to strengthen cooperation between Nigeria and Equatorial Guinea in these areas.

 

He also says the President will be accompanied by the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, and other members of his cabinet who will be involved in the signing of agreements and review of opportunities to improve bilateral relations.
