The Governor of Ebonyi State, Francis Nwifuru has urged Local Government Chairmen and Coordinators of Development Centres in Ebonyi State to embark on projects that will have direct impact on Ebonyians.
Nwifuru said this in Abakaliki the Ebonyi State capital as he urged Coordinators to begin to execute projects worth Ten Million Naira monthly while Chairmen are to execute projects of twenty Million Naira monthly.
Nwifuru also cautioned persons sabotaging government’s contract in their various localities to desist while also calling on Town Unions and other key arms of the community development process to supervise jobs in their areas in line with government’s specifications.
Our Correspondent in Ebonyi State Emmanuel Nnaji reports that Nwifuru also used the opportunity to commend the youths of Ebonyi State for not joining the nationwide protest, even as he called on officials not to take the honour given to the state by the youths for granted.
