Nigerian super eagles striker, Terem Moffi, will be sidelined from playing for several months and will miss the start of the 2024/2025 season after sustaining a cruciate ligament injury in training.
His French Ligue One Clubside, OGC Nice, confirmed via their official website this Wednesday that he sustained the injury during the team training and additional tests have confirmed a rupture of the anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
He is expected to undergo surgery later this week and the club says it is hopeful that he would be able to return to action before the end of the 2024/25 season.
Recall that Moffi has scored 20 goals in 52 appearances for Nice across all competitions since joining Nice from Lorient in January 2022.
